Welcome to The Trip Folks. By accessing our website or booking any of our services, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. The Trip Folks is an initiative of VM Travels Private Limited, an IATA Accredited travel company registered in India.

1. Bookings & Payments

• All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by The Trip Folks.
• A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of the required deposit or full payment, as communicated at the time of booking.
• Prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) and are subject to change prior to booking confirmation.
• We accept payments via UPI, credit/debit cards, net banking, and bank transfer.
• All transactions are secured via our PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway.

2. Cancellation & Refund Policy

• More than 30 days before departure: 20% of total trip cost as cancellation charge.
• 15 to 30 days before departure: 50% of total trip cost as cancellation charge.
• Less than 15 days before departure: No refund applicable.

Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 working days to the original payment method. No-shows are treated as cancellations with no refund.

3. Trip Modifications

The Trip Folks reserves the right to modify itineraries, accommodation, or activities due to weather, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances. Comparable alternatives will be offered wherever possible, and travellers will be informed in advance.

4. Travel Documents & Eligibility

• Travellers are responsible for ensuring they hold valid travel documents (passport, visa, health certificates, etc.).
• The Trip Folks is not liable for any issues arising from incomplete or incorrect documentation.
• Minimum age requirement for solo travel: 18 years; accompanied minors may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

5. Health & Medical Conditions

Travellers must disclose any pre-existing medical conditions at the time of booking. The Trip Folks reserves the right to decline a booking if the condition poses a risk to the traveller or other group members. We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance for all trips.

6. Liability

The Trip Folks acts as an organiser of travel services and shall not be liable for any loss, injury, or damage arising from: force majeure events, acts or omissions of third-party service providers, or loss or theft of personal belongings during the trip.

7. Code of Conduct

All travellers are expected to behave respectfully towards fellow travellers, trip leaders, local communities, and the environment. The Trip Folks reserves the right to remove any traveller from a trip without refund if their behaviour is deemed disruptive, harmful, or unlawful.

8. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Gautam Buddha Nagar (Noida), Uttar Pradesh.
